Greek translate with parsing New Testament chapter Matthew 5:1-13

Matthew 5:1

Ἰδων δε τους ὀχλους ἀνεβη εἰς το ὀρος, και καθισαντος αὐτου προσηλθαν αὐτῳ οἱ μαθηται αὐτου

Ἰδων                having seen (2nd aorist participle active nominative masculine singular of     ραω  to see)

δε                    then

τους                 the

ὀχλους             crowds

ἀνεβη               he went up (2nd aorist indicative active 3rd person singular of ἀναβαινω I go)

εἰς                    on

το                     the  

ὀρος                 mountain

και                   and

καθισαντος      having sat down (1st aorist participle active genitive masculine singular of καθιζω  sit down)  

αὐτου               of him

προσηλθαν      came (1st aorist indicative active 3rd person plural of προσερχομαι  come)

αὐτῳ                to him

οἱ                     the

μαθηται           disciples

αὐτου               of him

Having seen the crowds he went up on the mountain, and having  sat down his disciples came to him;

Matthew 5:2

Και ανοιξας το στομα αὐτου ἐδιδασκεν αὐτους λεγων,

ανοιξας            opening (1st aorist participle active nominative masculine singular of ἀνοιγω open)

Matthew 5:3

Μακαριοι οἱ πτωχοι τῳ πνεματι, Ὁτι αὐτων ἐστιν βασιλεια των οὐρανων.

τῳ                    to the

πνεματι            spirit

Ὁτι                  for

“Blessed are the poor to the spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heaven”.

Matthew 5:4

Μακαριοι οἱ πενθουντιες, Ὁτι αὐτοι παρακληθησονται.

Μακαριοι                     blessed

οἱ                                 the

πενθουντιες                 mourning (present participle active nominative masculine plural of πενθεω mourn)

 Ὁτι                             for  (recitative)

αὐτοι                            they

παρακληθησονται        will be comforted (future indicative  passive 3rd person plural of  παρακαλεω comfort )

Blessed are those who mourning, because they will be comforted.

Matthew 5:5

Μακαριοι οἱ πραεις, Ὁτι αὐτοι κληρονοησουσιν την γην.

Μακαριοι                     blessed

πραεις                          meek

 Ὁτι                             for

αὐτοι                            they

κληρονοησουσιν         will inherit/obtain (future indicative active 3rd person plural of              κληρονομεω inherit/ obtain)

την                               the

γην                               earth

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:6

Μακαριοι οἱ πεινωτες και διψωντες την δικαιοσυνην, Ὁτι αὐτοι χορτασθησονται.

Μακαριοι                     blessed

οἱ                                 the

πεινωτες                      hungering (present participle active nominative masculine plural of πειναω  needy /hungry)

και                               and

διψωντες                     thirsting (present participle active nominative masculine plural of                                             διψαω  to thirst)

δικαιοσυνην                righteousness

αὐτοι                            they

χορτασθησονται          will be filled (future indicative passive 3rd person plural of χορταζω  fill/satisfy)

Blessed are those who the hungry and thirsty for righteousness, for they will be filled.

 

Matthew 5:7

Μακαριοι οἱ ἐλεημονες,  Ὁτι αὐτοι ἐλεηθησονται.

Μακαριοι blessed

οἱ                     the

ἐλεημονες       merciful 

Ὁτι                  for

αὐτοι               they

ἐλεηθησονται will receive mercy (future indicative passive 3rd person plural of ἐλεεω mercy)

Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.

Matthew 5:8

Μακαριοι οἱ καθαρος τῃ καρδιᾳ, Ὁτι αὐτοι τον Θεον ὀψονται.

Μακαριοι         blessed

οἱ                     the

καθαρος           pure

τῃ                     to the

καρδιᾳ             heart

Ὁτι                  for

αὐτοι                they

Θεον                God

ὀψονται           will see (future indicative middle 3rd person plural of ὁραω see/perceive )

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see the God.

Matthew 5:9

Μακαριοι οἱ εἰρηνοποιοι, Ὁτι αὐτοι υἱοι Θεου κληθησονται.

Μακαριοι         blessed

οἱ                     the

εἰρηνοποιοι      peacemakers

Ὁτι                  for

αὐτοι                they

υἱοι                  sons

Θεου               of God

κληθησονται    will be called (future indicative passive 3rd person plural of καλεω to call)

Blessed are peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children/sons/daughters] of God.   

Matthew 5:10

Μακαριοι οἱ δεδιωγμενοι ἐνεκεν δικαιοσυνης, Ὁτι αὐτων ἐστιν βασιλεια των οὐρανων.

Μακαριοι         blessed

οἱ                     the

δεδιωγμενοι    having been persecuted (perfect participle middle nominative masculine         plural of διωκω persecute)

ἐνεκεν               because/ cause

δικαιοσυνη      of righteousness

Ὁτι                  for

αὐτων              theirs

ἐστιν                is (present indicative active 3rd person singular of εἰμι I am )

                     the

βασιλεια          kingdom

των                  of the

οὐρανων          heavens

Blessed are those who the persecuted cause of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heaven.  

Matthew 5:11

Μακαριοι ἐστε ὁταν ὀνειδισωσιν ὑμας και διωξωσιν και εἰπωσιν παν πονηρον καθὑμων ψευδομεωοι ἑνεκεν ἐμου.

Μακαριοι         blessed

ἐστε                 are you (present indicative active 2nd person plural of εἰμι I am)

ὁταν                 when

ὀνειδισωσιν     they might revile (1st aorist subjunctive active  3rd person plural of ὀνειδιζω  revile)

ὑμας                you

και                   and

διωξωσιν         they might persecute (1st aorist subjunctive active  3rd person plural of διωκω  persecute)

και                   and

εἰπωσιν            they might  say 2nd aorist subjunctive active  3rd person plural of λεγω I say)

Blessed are you when they might revile you and they might persecute and might say all kinds of evil against you [falsely/wrongfully] because of me.

Matthew 5:12

Χαιρετε και ἀγαλλιασθε, ὁτι μισθος ὑμων πολυς ἐν τοις οὐρανοιςοὑτως γαρ ἐδιωξαν τους προφητας τους προ ὑμων.

Χαιρετε           rejoice (present imperative active 2nd  person plural of χαιρω rejoice)

και                   and

ἀγαλλιασθε     glad (present imperative middle 2nd  person plural of ἀγαλλιαω glad)

ὁτι                    for

                     the

μισθος             reward

ὑμων               of you

Rejoice and glad for your reward is great in to the heavens; thus for they persecuted the prophets before you.

Matthew 5:13

Ὑμεις ἐστε το ἁλας της γηςἐαν δε το ἁλας μωρανθῃ, ἐν τινι ἁλισθησεται; εἰς οὐδεν ἰσχυει ἐτι εἰ μη βληθεν ἐξω καταπατεισθαι ὑπο των ἀνθρωπων.

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt becomes tasteless, in it what will be salted? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown and trampled by humans.
